Biography
Engr. Saidu Abdullahi (PhD.) is a highly experienced Civil Engineer, project management professional, and academic with extensive expertise in construction engineering, infrastructure development, and project supervision across Nigeria. With years of practical industry experience and academic advancement, he has built a strong reputation for professionalism, technical competence, and leadership in the engineering sector.
He currently serves as a Project Civil Engineer at Urban Shelter Limited, where he oversees civil engineering and infrastructure projects, ensuring quality delivery, compliance with engineering standards, and efficient project execution. In addition, he serves as a Senior Visiting Lecturer at Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), contributing to the training and development of future engineering professionals.
Engr. Abdullahi holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) and a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Civil Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University. He is also pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering at the same institution, demonstrating his commitment to research, innovation, and continuous professional development.
Over the years, he has worked with several reputable engineering and construction firms in various capacities, including Project Manager, Civil Engineer, Site Supervisor, and Infrastructure Project Supervisor. His professional journey has equipped him with valuable experience in construction management, site coordination, structural supervision, and engineering project delivery.
A registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Engr. Abdullahi is also a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and has participated in several professional development programmes, engineering assemblies, and leadership trainings aimed at improving technical expertise and organizational performance.
